Programs - workshops


Paperkiln Besides making our own ceramics we are organizing a workshops and gatherings in order to share and learn more then we know now.

A greatest deal of the programs is aimed at the firing and decoration techniques. We are starting the building of our own anagamma kiln and have therefore call it out to people from Croatia and surroundings to join us and be a part of the building team. We are stepping up our ash glaze production and study, besides a variety of the firing ways just to be able to reach back in to the past and touch the anciently doing the things the way they did.

Along our ceramic programs we are trying to bring back to life some other traditional crafts from the area by organizing workshops in many different areas of human work and culture.

Some of the programs are:

  • raku
  • pitfire
  • paperkiln
  • team building programs
  • workshops for kids
  • thematic workshops(weaving, making of slivovitz, herbal workshops, photo safari, traditional crafts workshops etc.)

Programs structure
(weekend and week)
Max number of participants is 8.

Weekend
3 days, 2 nights

Friday afternoon:
- arrival,
- welcome drink, organization of accommodation etc.,
- theoretical meeting about the days to come
Saturday:
Whole day working. Depending of the program until late in the night.
Sunday:
Finishing of the work, evaluation.

Week
7 days, 6 nights

Friday afternoon:
- arrival,
- welcome drink, organization of accommodation etc.,
- theoretical meeting about the days to come
Saturday till wednesday:
Whole day working. Depending of the program until late in the night.
Thursday:
Finishing of the work, evaluation.

Price
The prices would vary depending on the needs of the program but they all include sleeping, food and whole the material costs. Drinks (beer and wine) are not included.
Note: In case of the professional leading of particular workshop the costs of the leading teacher/guest are to be shared among the participants, of which they al will be made aware in advance.

Note: All of the workshops are starting from the October 2008.

Special events
Besides the regular workshops there is the big possibility that we are going to organize various meetings and workshops about many different themes of the human life and interaction. All of this happenings we are going to announce in advance on this web sites.
