Danijela Pešut Water, life's fluid

New project. Call to international ceramists community to participate in our project 'Water, life fluid'.
The theme is water, techniques and media's free. All pieces must be made for 50% out of clay. Most important is the inspiration by the idea of water that connects and communicates thru out the times and spaces of all worlds.

Project is free for everybody to participate, based on the international communication inspired by the same idea as to elevate the consciousness about the importance of the water in our universe.

The first exhibition of the works is planed to take place in 2012.
If our friends and partners from Belgium, France and England decide to work with us on the project, then the exhibition is going to have an great opening in four countries at the same time. If not so, then it will open in Croatia, maybe other partner countries and then it is going to travel to other places as to present the idea and the works.All other details and new information's about the development of the project are going to be published on this web site and send as personal messages to all participants of the project.

Water museum
All of the works are then going to become a part of the permanent collection of the water museum that we are building in Plaški, place where we live and work. Plaški is specific because it has got the river Dretulja, proven one of the cleanest rivers of the world. As there were lots of ideas as to do something with the river and water of it that would pollute it, we want to prevent that by installing a permanent exhibition about water and the river. We hope that you all are going to help with it...

Some general rules are:

  • pieces are mainly made of clay (over 50%)
  • pieces are not bigger than 100x100x100 cm
  • pieces are donated to International ceramic centre Atelier Janja Gora, as a contribution to an permanent exhibition of the centre
  • pieces should be send at the own costs of the participants
  • pieces must be accompanied by a cd (or by email) with 2 high resolution, 300 dpi, pictures of the work, short cv of the artist, techniques used and most important, inspiration statement (short text about what and how the piece was inspired).
  • Atelier Janja Gora is going to send all relevant information's about the status of the project to all participants and will keep the web site updated
  • Atelier Janja Gora keeps the right to make a selection of exhibited works due to the space limitations of the gallery's where the works are going to be exhibited
  • all pieces are going to be presented on the virtual gallery internet pages of the Atelier Janja Gora

Atelier Janja Gora wants to hand out the money prices for the best pieces, but that still depends on the partners and sponsors of the project. All information is going to be made available via this web site.

Thank you for taking interest in our project. By participating in it, you are helping our organisation to become stronger and better international ceramic centre recognised in the whole world. A fact that is going to improve our philosophy of sharing the knowledge throug out the world as a mean of the creation and improvement of life. A better world that we all deserve.
